Due to our busy schedules in the summer, we are not always here to help in the garden. Please contact us at 715-699-5279 prior to visiting. If we are not available, we will give you instructions for our cut flower garden.
Below is a sampling of our cut flowers from 2025. All of our plants are started from seed and lovingly cared for, without chemicals. We plan to offer additional varieties for 2026. Stay tuned!
Zinnias
Zinnias are one of my favorites! So many bright colors and different shapes. They are typically available beginning approximately June 15th and bloom until first hard frost,
Gomphrena
Gomphrena is a great filler flower and is generally in full blown towards the end of July and blooms until first hard frost.
Yarrow
Yarrow also makes a great accent flower and is usually ready early July. It will continue blooming until first hard frost.
Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus takes a long time to mature here in the north, but by late August, it is spectacular!
Pampas Plume Celosia
Celosia is in bloom by mid to late July.
Flamingo Feather Celosia
Flamingo Feather is in its prime in early to mid-July.
Strawflower
Strawflowers start blooming towards the end of June and continue until first frost.
Dahlia
Dahlias come on strong mid-summer and continue until first frost.
Sunflowers
Sunflowers begin showing their happy faces approximately mid-August and continue until first frost.
Snapdragon
Mid-July until first hard frost.
Garden Phlox
Garden Phlox gets going early July and continues until first hard frost.
Herbs
Sweet Basil, Oregano, Thyme, Sage, Rosemary, Lavender
China Aster
Mid-June to late July
Lisianthus
Lisianthus is extremely slow growing. Once it starts to bloom in August, it continues until the end of September.
Stock
Beautiful, fragrant Stock blooms mid-June and fizzles out when the warm weather comes, usually by mid-July.
